When: 20-23 April 2026
Where: Turku, Finland

Europe-Asia Roundtable Sessions is organizing a three-day songwriting camp bringing together professional songwriters from India and Finland. Participants will collaborate to create original music based on briefs provided by music labels and film and TV production companies from both regions.

Finland, along with the other Nordics, is known as one of the world's most powerful songwriting hubs, shaping global pop culture from the inside out. With a signature blend of bold creativity, emotional clarity, and cutting-edge production, songwriters and producers from the region consistently craft chart-topping hits for international superstars across genres from US to Korea and Japan.

The event aims to facilitate cross-border creative collaboration between music professionals while providing film and series producers with access to international songwriting talent for their upcoming productions. Indian writers will work directly with Nordic songwriters known for crafting global hits, while Finnish participants gain insight into the melodic and narrative approaches that resonate with Indian audiences.

The songwriting camp will conclude on 23 April with a one-day conference on the Indian entertainment industry. Participants will attend a listening session for the completed works, engage with panel discussions on the Indian entertainment sector, and network with industry professionals.

The event is organized in partnership with West Finland Film Commission, Music Finland, Song Asia, Humanistinen Ammattikorkeakoulu (HUMAK), Stubborn, Tinnuts and India Music Exchange.
