Are you interested in the opportunities offered to songwriters and publishers by one of the world’s fastest-growing music markets? Would you like to understand how copyright royalties work in India and how they have evolved? Join us to learn about the Indian music market and how you can become part of this rapidly growing landscape.

This webinar offers music industry professionals—such as songwriters, publishers, managers, and other stakeholders interested in the market—an overview of the Indian music market and its expanding opportunities. The program includes three expert presentations, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.

The webinar begins with a general overview of India as an export market, focusing on market size, growth, and creative potential. This is followed by insights into the development of the Indian music market, its working culture, musical trends, and opportunities in music synchronization. Finally, participants will learn how copyright royalties are managed and collected in India. Attendees will gain a broad understanding of the Indian music ecosystem and the opportunities it offers for international collaboration.

In connection with the webinar, the upcoming EARS x India songwriting camp focused on the Indian market will also be launched. The camp will take place in Turku in April 2026 and is open to Finnish creators. The application period opens on 23 February—the same day the webinar is held.
